Company History
Founded in 1989, OnPoint Software Consulting, Inc., began as a CPA firm headed by Mike Pieczynski, who brings over 25 years’ experience working with construction, real estate, service companies, and corporate owner/developers. For nearly 20 years 100% of OnPoint’s focus has been on helping construction companies maximize profits with processes and effective use of construction accounting, project management, and field operations software.
After an 18-year relationship as a key contractor to Sage Timberline Professional Services Group, Mike and his team felt there needed to be more focus on helping construction and service companies manage profits and grow with their construction software. Today, OnPoint continues to assist existing Sage 300 CRE users get more from their current software, and is also an authorized reseller of Viewpoint’s Spectrum® and Vista products, delivering solutions to the construction and service industries using the latest emerging technologies.
OnPoint was acquired by BuildingPoint Midwest in January of 2025 and renamed to BuildOne Partners in November 2025.
Our Team

Mike Pieczynski
Business Development Director
Bio
Mike is the founder and previous owner of OnPoint Consulting, which was acquired by BuildingPoint Midwest in 2025. Mike works closely with the Business Development team, consultants and Client Care on ongoing projects. Additionally, Mike works with all aspects of software publisher relationships as part of our “Trusted Advisor” initiatives for clients and prospects.
After an 18-year relationship as a key contractor to Sage Timberline Professional Services Group, Mike and his team felt there needed to be more focus on helping construction and service companies manage profits and grow with their construction software. Mike left the longtime relationship with Timberline Corporate to be available directly to end users, Timberline dealers, and other consultants. A few years later Mike and his team began looking for next-generation software, eventually starting a relationship with Dexter + Chaney (now Viewpoint). In 2014, Mike started working with Spectrum, becoming certified in 2015.
Mike has served as a CFO at a construction company in Missouri, and before that as the administrative partner of Renshaw and Pieczynski, CPA’s, focusing in the construction industry.

Todd Ellsworth
Director of Professional services
Bio
Todd is the Director of Professional Services for BuildOne Partners. He grew up in Tulsa, OK and studied construction management at Oklahoma State University. Since 2013, Todd has overseen BuildingPoint’s virtual design and construction process services. He also supports clients through process discovery and works on the training and implementation support on VDC.
For fun, Todd bikes around his hometown of New Orleans to explore the area. He also stays involved in community activities and likes to volunteer at a concert series close to his home.

Ganesh Balakrishnan
Bio
Ganesh is an IT professional who brings over 20 years of experience working with multiple ERP products and solutions. Ganesh is a Viewpoint Spectrum® certified consultant with previous certifications in Intacct, Sage Accpac and Sage CRM.
With a strong focus on project management and process improvement, Ganesh has successfully implemented many companies in the construction industry throughout Oklahoma and Texas.
Prior to consulting, Ganesh spent 6 years with an engineering construction firm in Oklahoma, managing and supporting Sage 300 CRE in an IT role.
Additionally, Ganesh also has strong experience with systems and network engineering, with prior certifications in Microsoft and Cisco solutions.

Ron Shoop
Bio
Ron is a tenured Solutions Architect procuring over 40+ full-cycle ERP implementations & 20+ ERP optimizations along with various custom third-party integration projects. His experience in technology-related projects includes software systems assessment & selections, full-cycle ERP implementations and project oversight, business process review, application configuration and training, post Go-Live application optimizations, data conversion oversight and execution, multi-systems data mapping & integrations and Crystal Reports design and creation.

Julie Adler
Bio
Julie has over 40 years experience working with construction data, including 20 years with Trimble Project Management applications (Prolog and ProjectSight). She worked for 8 years as a consultant in the industry, assisting clients with application implementation, custom report writing and business process development.
Julie is certified in Trimble ProjectSight implementations and training and worked for two Construction Management companies in Southeastern Michigan for over 15 years managing applications for construction projects.
She has a degree in Construction Management from Eastern Michigan University and lives in Milford, Michigan with husband and dog, Luna. Julie and her husband have three grown children, Katie, Laura and Mike Jr., and three granddaughters.

Kristine Kiker
Bio
Kris began working as a key contractor for Dexter + Chaney in 1997, implementing Viewpoint Spectrum® Software for construction companies across the United States for nearly 20 years.
Prior to 1997 Kris was a Controller for an electrical contractor as well as a consultant for a software company in the food industry.
Kris has a Master’s of Business Administration from Boise State University.
Today Kris works from her home, making herself available for support and small projects.

Trae Reinart
Bio
Trae has over 25 years of experience in managing projects, converting accounting systems, and software development with 14 of those years specific to the construction industry and the Viewpoint Spectrum® family of products. He extends beyond standard project management by offering complete data analysis, specialized reporting, SQL interfaces, as well as full custom applications. He specializes in finding novel and simple solutions to complex issues resulting in increased efficiency throughout an organization. He has worked with clients in the electrical, heavy highway, general contracting, and mechanical industries and has a firm understanding of both the accounting and operational challenges confronting the modern construction business. Trae received his Master of Business Administration from UNLV.
Trae’s primary hobby is traveling the world. He’s been to over 55 countries on all seven continents from camping in the Sahara to trekking through Antarctica. He currently lives in Houston with his dog, Shamu.

Alan Quartz
Bio
Alan has worked in the construction industry for nearly 20 years, Starting in concrete construction, moving on to Utility construction working with cutting edge technology for the time period managing project installation customer satisfaction and quality control as a project manager. He left there to start a career in sales and business development for a software implementation team where we specialize in helping construction companies integrate all aspects of their business by getting the most out of their current IT systems or help implement new processes and procedures to streamline and grow a sustainable profitable business.

Jeffrey P. Smith, CPA
Bio
Jeff began using Viewpoint Spectrum® in 2015 and was certified in 2016. Additionally, since 2003 Jeff has been a Certified Sage 300 Consultant (formerly Timberline Office), specialized in accounting, document management and property management. Jeff is also certified in FAS Fixed Asset and is proficient in Crystal Reports.
In addition to his technical skills with construction software, Jeff has worked as a CFO, Accounting Manager, and Network Administrator.
A graduate of Texas A&M University in 1994, Jeff holds a B.S. degree in Accounting and is a Certified Public Accountant.
When Jeff is not servicing the clients, he loves to be under water, scuba diving, or out in the wilderness, hunting.

Linda Whitener
Bio
With thirty years of experience in the construction industry, including twenty years working with Sage Timberline, Linda began working with Viewpoint Spectrum® in 2015. A highly accomplished and sought-after consultant, Linda has implemented many companies in the construction industry, including general contractors, service industry companies and home builders.
Before working as a consultant, Linda worked as an accounts payable supervisor for a general contractor in Broken Arrow, Okla., eventually moving up to the position of controller at a large general contractor in Fort Worth, Texas.
Linda has also been an instructor at the TUG (Timberline Users Group) National Conference since 2007.
Personal
Linda and her husband live in Mansfield, Texas. They have two grown children, Ashley and Jason.

Reed Emerson
Bio
Reed Emerson brings over five years of sales and consulting experience within the construction industry, where he has developed a deep understanding of client needs and market dynamics. His passion for building lasting relationships with customers is complemented by his ability to deliver tailored solutions that align with their goals and business processes.
Outside of his professional life, Reed has a wonderful family including his wife Ashley, son Walker, and newborn baby girl. Reed is an avid outdoors enthusiast who enjoys fishing, golfing, and spending quality time with family and friends. He values creating memorable experiences with those closest to him in his life.

Luke Zandstra
Bio
Luke Zandstra has six years of experience in the construction services industry — with three years in sales and three years as an electrician. In sales, Luke focused on building strong customer relationships and providing tailored solutions. As an electrician, Luke continued to prioritize customer satisfaction and quality service. He is passionate about connecting with people and always seeks opportunities to learn and grow.
Outside of work, Luke enjoys running, fishing, and hunting. In July 2024, he completed an Ironman 70.3, a major personal achievement. Luke is also dedicated to helping young adults at church. At home, he is happily married to his wife, Kayla, and they are excited to welcome their first child in 2025.

Daniel Warren
Bio
Daniel Warren is the Accubid Anywhere Specialist at BuildOne. Since joining the electrical industry in 2021, he has focused on estimation and database customization. Daniel specializes in building assemblies that improve the accuracy and efficiency of takeoffs, helping contractors get the most out of Accubid Anywhere.
Though he considers himself an avid indoorsman, Daniel has enjoyed adventures to Italy and Ireland, where he loves exploring new cultures and gathering inspiration for his next journey. When he’s not traveling, he spends his time reading and gaming with friends.

David Lange

David Lange is a member of our Customer Success team and works as our Client Care Manager, ensuring our customers are completely satisfied with all aspects of our business.
David is a native of Oswego, Illinois and graduated from Oswego High School.
In his free time, David likes to watch football, play video games and travel.
